Tamela Luce, President/CEO

  • Tamela has more than two decades of experience in philanthropy, grantmaking, and nonprofit management. Her accomplishments in her career include improving the emergency food system in Montgomery County and leading a regional Women’s Issues Summit to identify unmet and pressing needs of women and girls in the Delaware Valley. Outside of work, Tamela loves going to concerts and traveling to new places. She dabbles in many hobbies, mastering few, such as gardening and photography. And she occasionally knits and crochets simple projects, though she once celebrated her love of Gritty by knitting a hat of the Flyers’ mascot. She and her significant other Tom and their needy cat Gus enjoy watching really bad old movies. Tamela holds a Master of Public Administration degree, with a concentration in nonprofit management, from West Chester University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Institutions and Policy from William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri.
