Phoenixville Healthcare Access Foundation
The Foundation was created in 2005 to help establish a health care safety net for low income people who are uninsured or under-insured. It helps eligible residents of the greater Phoenixville Area access dental, emergency orthopaedic, vision care, mammograms, as well as obtaining free prescription medications.
The Foundation refers clients to local dentists and eye doctors for the care they need. The program reimburses a network of dental and vision providers at a discounted fee for their service. It assists clients in obtaining prescription medications from drug companies' "Patient Assistance Programs." Free mammogram screenings are also available.
