LL Bean Outdoor Experience Mini-Grant Program

To commemorate the opening of their new retail store in King of Prussia, LL Bean is partnering with the Phoenixville Community Health Foundation and the Pottstown Area Health & Wellness Foundation to provide a special Mini-Grant Program. LL Bean has donated $10,000 for the fund. Through this fund LL Bean has made a commitment to engaging young people in outdoor recreation, both to inspire them to lead healthy lifestyles and to encourage them to become stewards of the outdoors.

The Phoenixville Community Health Foundation and the Pottstown Area Health & Wellness Foundation will jointly administer the fund – each receiving $5,000 to fund mini-grants within their respective service areas. Mini-Grants, up to $300.00, will be awarded to qualifying projects within public kindergarten, elementary and middle schools.
