PHOENIXVILLE COMMUNITY HEALTH FOUNDATION
Evaluating Your Program – A Practical Approach
The Phoenixville Community Health Foundation [PCHF] is pleased to continue to offer a program initiative that is designed to assist non-profit organizations within the greater Phoenixville area with the development of an individualized internal evaluation model.
No doubt every potential funder you approach is asking how you intend to evaluate the effectiveness of your program[s]. In many cases this is not an easy feat … especially when funders want more than numbers of people served -- they are looking for a measurement/assessment of outcomes.
PCHF has once again engaged the services of Dr. John Kelley of Villanova University to facilitate a comprehensive program that will train non-profit organizations with the development of a written program evaluation plan. The training is practical … no statistics! The tangible product for you at the end of the program is your own, customized written program evaluation plan.
The program components will include: five ½-day workshop sessions over a nine-month period of time, plus one-on-one consultation time. The Foundation offers this program once a year. The program can accommodate up to ten [10] organizations. The value of this program is over $3,500 per organization; however there will is no fee for organizations participating. There is, however, a $500 “good faith” deposit that will be returned, in full, upon successful completion of the program.
The Foundation is providing this opportunity because we understand the importance of meaningful program evaluation. We feel it is deserving of time and investment.
